Who provides this service

ONEAMONG LTD, company number 17485667, provides this free service and controls the application information. Registered office: 124-128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX. Contact: hello@weareoneamong.com.

Who may use My family

You must be aged 18 or over and have parental responsibility for each child you add. A new profile is for a child under 18. Use your own email to manage the private view; do not enter the child’s email or use your personal claim slot for their number. By completing verification and selecting the declarations you accept these family terms and acknowledge the Privacy Notice.

People aged 13 or over may separately claim their own personal number. Younger children’s saved numbers remain parent-managed. My family does not currently support co-parent access, account transfer, child takeover or gifting. An inbox code confirms inbox access only; the age and parental-responsibility declarations are not independent verification.

Estimates and number integrity

All Human Numbers remain estimates, not exact historical birth order, official identifiers or proof of identity. A saved number stays fixed when the model changes. Twins can have distinct profiles and numbers. An available number may be selected inside the model’s uncertainty range if the candidate is already reserved.

ONEAMONG can enforce separate saved profiles and one personal claim per email, not one verified identity per person. The same child may be represented in different accounts. A family number cannot currently be sold, traded or transferred and does not reserve merchandise.

What we use and keep

Birth date and optional time/place are sent to the server to calculate the estimate, then discarded rather than saved as readable family fields. The readable parent email is used to send access codes, not saved in the family database. Saved information includes a random profile ID, a keyed email-derived account reference, optional label, the estimated candidate and reserved number, model and precision, creation time, and the declaration version and time. We also keep the time of your last successful family login to apply the inactivity limit.

Use optional labels such as “Child 1” or “Twin A”. They are limited to 24 characters. Do not enter names, schools, addresses, birth dates or contact details. Keyed references and linked profiles are protected personal data, not anonymous information.

Why we use it

We rely on our legitimate interests in providing the private number service you request, keeping saved numbers stable and preventing duplicate allocation. We weigh children’s privacy and control over their information against those interests. Separate security processing protects accounts and prevents abuse. Your parental declaration is not blanket consent to other uses of the child’s information. Family information is not used for marketing, behavioural profiling, consequential automated decisions, optional analytics or AI training.

Cloudflare provides hosting, database storage, abuse protection and verification-email delivery. See the Privacy Notice for service providers, transfers and your rights.

Private access and retention

My number and My family share a strictly necessary HttpOnly customer sign-in cookie, Secure in production, with a fixed 30-minute expiry. If you are already signed in, opening family management needs the adult/parent declaration and these terms, not another email code. A separate family capability cannot outlast that customer session. Family screens do not send optional website statistics or store profiles in browser storage. Verification codes last 10 minutes, work once and allow at most five attempts. Requesting another code replaces the previous one. Signing out closes customer and family access.

Active family profiles are kept until you remove them or 24 months pass without a successful family code login or explicit family activation from a current customer sign-in. A personal-only login or simply leaving a page open does not extend that period. Overdue profiles are removed on the next routine daily cleanup or before a later family activation opens the view. Expired access proofs and sessions are removed through daily cleanup.

Removal and number integrity

Deleting a profile removes its account link, label, declaration and original creation metadata. A minimal unlinked record containing the retired number and random technical ID remains while the registry operates to prevent reissue or a stale creation request restoring it. It cannot be relinked to a family account. This integrity record is assessed separately from active profiles.

Deleting all family data also removes the family access records and inactivity clock. It does not delete your separate personal number or wishlist. Removed family profiles cannot be restored automatically.

Corrections and children’s rights

A child’s privacy rights belong to the child. We consider their understanding, wishes and interests when a child or parent requests access, correction, restriction, objection or deletion. Parent management does not give an unconditional right to override a sufficiently mature child. You can remove a profile yourself; other requests are handled through hello@weareoneamong.com.

There is no automatic transfer or deletion when a child turns 13 or 18, because the entered birth date is not retained. Contact us about a change of management. A correction may require retiring the old number and creating a replacement. If email access is lost or authority is disputed, we do not transfer records merely because someone knows a number. We will explain any proportionate information needed for a rights request. Do not send birth details or identity documents in your initial email.

Availability and responsible use

This free service is in testing and may have interruptions. Do not impersonate a parent, use automated claims, probe other accounts or present an estimate as official evidence. We may restrict an account for security, abuse or a valid rights request. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. English law applies, without removing mandatory rights that apply to you. Material changes will be clearly dated.
