ONEAMONG / KINPOINT

Your Human Number, explained.

What it means, how the free birthday calculator works, and how to keep or share your estimated place in humanity’s story.

CURRENT PROTOTYPE · 30 OCTOBER 2026

ONE AMONG BILLIONS.ONE OF ONE.

What is a Human Number?

A Human Number is ONEAMONG’s estimate of where your birth fits among all humans ever born—not just people alive today. Enter your birth date, watch the timeline unfold and reveal your estimated number. The H/ prefix identifies the format. For example, H/114,927,603,821 is an illustrative modelled coordinate, not a certified fact about a person.

How do I find my Human Number?

Open the free calculator, enter your date of birth and select “Reveal my number.” Time and birthplace are optional. The current calculator accepts dates from 1 January 1900 to today. You can pause, skip or replay the journey.

What number human am I?

If you mean your place among everyone ever born, rather than people alive today, the Human Number calculator gives you an illustrative estimate from your birthday. It adds estimated births before your arrival within the KINPOINT model. There is no complete global birth record that could establish an exact rank. Your result is a way to explore that enormous human story, not a verified historical position.

How many humans have ever been born?

Population Reference Bureau estimated around 117 billion human births through 2022 in research published on 15 November 2022. That includes people who have died, so it is much larger than the population alive at one time. It is an estimate, not a count from complete records.

ONEAMONG’s rising total uses its own illustrative KINPOINT model. It is not PRB’s live total, a civil-registry feed or a count of ONEAMONG members. Read the model’s assumptions and limitations ↗

Is it the exact number of the human who was born?

No. There is no complete record of every human birth, and historical birth rates are estimates. The current KINPOINT model uses illustrative assumptions. Extra details refine a coordinate inside that model; they cannot recover an exact global birth order. A Human Number is not a government identifier, identity check or population certificate.

Is the calculator free? Do I need to register?

Finding your estimate, replaying it, copying it and creating a share card are free. You do not need an account. Claiming is optional and uses an email-verification code on this website.

Will I receive the same number every time?

The same normalized date, time and birthplace with the same KINPOINT model produce the same anonymous estimate. A missing time is estimated at noon. Different place descriptions, such as “London” and “London, UK,” can currently produce different estimates. The model version is documented.

Once claimed, your personal number stays linked to the same verified email. Entering different birth details does not allocate another number or replace it. Open My number to retrieve it without birth details. The original number and model version are kept, rather than silently rewritten after a model update.

How do I sign in to see my number?

Select My number / Sign in, enter your claim email address and enter the six-digit code we send. The code lasts 10 minutes and works once; requesting a new one replaces the old one. There is no password or OpenAI sign-in. This opens your active saved numbers without recalculating or creating a new claim.

One private sign-in works across My number and My family for a fixed 30 minutes. Reloading or moving between them does not extend the session. Sign out on a shared device before leaving; after expiry, request a fresh email code. Opening My family may also require its parent or legal guardian declaration. If you only calculated an estimate and never claimed it, first reveal your number and select “Claim this number.”

Is my number unique?

An anonymous estimate is not guaranteed to be unique. Different people can enter the same birth details or reach the same estimate. The optional claim registry reserves an available number within the model’s uncertainty range so active claims are unique inside ONEAMONG. If the candidate is taken, the reserved number may be adjusted. This does not make it an exact historical number or proof that there is only one claim per real person.

What happens when I claim a number?

People aged 13 or over can request an email code, accept the claim terms and verify the code to reserve a personal number. Younger children’s numbers are kept by their parent or legal guardian through My family, not through the child’s own login. Email verification confirms control of an inbox, not legal identity, age or the accuracy of birth information. Read the Claim Terms and Privacy Notice for details.

Can I claim more than one number with my email?

No. New claims support one personal number per verified email address. This is not proof of one claim per real person: email verification checks access to an inbox, not legal identity. If an account has multiple numbers from earlier testing, they remain visible but further claims are blocked until you contact us to resolve them.

Can I reserve numbers for my children?

Use My family to keep up to six private children’s numbers under your own verified email, separately from your personal number. You must be aged 18 or over and have parental responsibility for each child. Children do not log in to these profiles, and the family portal has no public pages, sharing tools or marketing subscriptions.

Family profiles are removed after 24 months without a successful family login. Removed numbers stay retired and cannot be reissued. There is no automatic transfer to a child’s email at 13 or 18; contact us about corrections, privacy rights or a change of management. A family profile and a personal claim do not prove that two accounts represent different people.

What does the rising total mean?

The homepage total estimates humans ever born and rises using an assumed birth-rate curve. It is not the number of people alive today, a live civil-registry feed or a count of ONEAMONG users. Historical milestones are editorial context, not evidence identifying an individual birth.

Can I share my number without sharing my birth details?

Yes. The share card includes your Human Number, campaign artwork and a link or QR code to ONEAMONG, not your entered date, time, birthplace or email. Sharing is your choice. A number should not be used as a password or proof of identity. Avoid posting other people’s personal details, especially children’s, without their permission.

Can I buy a T-shirt, pendant or print?

Not yet. The ID Tee, ID Tag wearable pendant, ARRIVAL print and ONEWOVEN couple or family print are product concepts. Join a product’s wishlist if it appeals. There is nothing to pay, no deposit and no obligation to buy. Optional questions about interest, willingness to pay and other ideas help us decide what to develop; they do not set a selling price.

Do I have to allow analytics?

No. Optional analytics are off until you opt in and do not affect access to the calculator or claim and sharing features. They count broad launch interactions rather than identify visitors. Change the choice in the footer’s Privacy choices control. See the Privacy Notice for the exact information and retention periods.
